For my creative writing class, my professor asked us to keep a journal.  But not like a diary...just little anecdotes or snippets of conversations, lyrics, quotes, reflections, observations, aspirations.  It's actually pretty interesting, and I'm looking forward to it.  Except here's my first entry: "Why do I make such a fool out of myself?"
Yeah.  I should just never raise my hand in class again.  Man I fail at life.

So here I am, back at school again.  Break definitely went by way too quickly, but it was good times.  I worked a lot, but I got to see everyone and had some free time to just relax.  And eat cookies.  Boy did I eat a lot.  Now I have to go to the gym and see about getting in shape, but that will probably never happen.  Heh, my schedule is crazy.  My classes are alright, it's just everything extra that I'm doing that makes it impossible to have free time.  Speaking of classes, they started today, so I had my history and french.  History looks really exciting and my professor seems really funny so I'm looking forward to that.  And for french I have the same prof that I had last semester, and he's just the best.  I won't have my other classes till next week, so I'm hoping they're going to be good too.  Band is taking up all my free time, but no worries.  Pointless entry.  I've had fun though, seeing everyone again.  It's definitely been a blast

Yay for being home and doing nothing while doing so much at the same time.  I've been home a week and I've accomplished nothing, yet I can't think of a time that I haven't been doing something.  The holiday cookie party was a blast, because I got to see all my friends and eat lots of cookies.  Although making them was a crazy adventure in itself.  I rolled over two hundred sugar cookies.  Lemme tell ya, that is a crazy amount.  Like whoa.  I got my job back too.  They were only taking four people that came back for winter break and I was one of them!  Haha, actually only because I SPG and they don't have any other SPGs and make the servers do it.  And no one likes to SPG. (Smiling people greeter. aka hostess.)  Yeah.  It's a special title, I know.  But no worries.  It's money.  And I need money so I can go to Scotland in the spring!  I can't wait.  I'm really excited    My room is a mess.  And my cat likes to sleep on my bed all day and now my allergies are bugging me.  Blah.  Oh well.  I visited school today and did that thing where I talked to the seniors about what it's like being in college.  That was super exciting.  And by exciting I mean it was really silly.  I visited people and some teachers and then I realized that I needed to leave so I did.  haha.  You can only be there for so long when you don't have to.  I don't know how I managed through high school.  It's really killer, not gonna lie.  But anywho, I went out with the girls to lunch and bowling.  Good times there.  I've just been sitting around all day.  I really should do something productive.  But ten bucks says I'm not going to.  Ohh well.  That's what vacation is for eh?  I need to finish Christmas shopping for people.  I hate holiday shopping.  Why, during this time of love and spirit and good cheer, are people ruder than at any other time during the year?  Honestly, it's terrible.  But I guess you've gotta just put up with it.

Boy, yesterday was such a nasty day.  It was just raining like crazy.  The girls and I had a movie party!  We watched this really bizarre movie called Orlando, and Billy Zane was in it.  Oh man.  Then dinner, then Love Actually.  What a great movie.  It's so sad, but so happy and makes you want a boy with you right then and there.  Hah.  Then we went to midnight madness and they had a kareoke (sp?) machine and everyone sang "Candy" by Mandy Moore.  I declined from singing, but it was sure funny to watch them belt it out.  It was great...some drunk guys got up there and were trying to sing a Nelly song.  And they failed, but i was amused.  But today was really nice.  I woke up early-ish and studied, went to lunch, studied some more, then went to the gym and they had a yoga/pilates lesson!  So that was really fun, and now I'm sore and wow, I'm so out of shape.  hah.  But that's ok.  I haven't felt like studying since I got back from that.  Tonight after dinner, guess what I'll be doing?  Studying!  Wow, I'm a loser.  But I actually might go out bowling.  So that will be a nice break.  Then I'll be at the library all day tomorrow trying to cram for my Monday finals.  Blah.  Wednesday can't come here fast enough..
